I know of all sorts of ways to do "white box" 2.4ghz and up APs and CPE, but I'm not finding any cheap way to do 900Mhz. Seems like Moto, Trango, and a few others have very expensive solutions that will give a 16 month ROI to break even. What's around as a cheap way to build out 900Mhz into really rough NLOS topography where there may only be 20 users or so per AP and I don't want to wait 16 months to break-even? rawgerz: Currently there is the SR9 radio, which is the cheapest and most powerful? solution right now. For about $330 per AP you can have 900Mhz, a few discussions arouse concerning the power required by this card as some boards like WRAP and Routerboard may not have enough? But it sure beats more than a grand for motorola gear superdog1: I know for a fact the cards exist, as I held one in my hand at ISPCon. The problem is with the manufacturing side, and they say that production has not started other than a few boards, so who knows when You will see units shipping? Original thread location {moscomment}
