"I live close to a very busy interstate with 3 very active truckstops.
They have some pay something machines in the entrance of each. A
perfect place for some people needing some type of quick info worth
paying for.
Some travlers ( me included ) have used this type of
service at hotels. I have needed to pull some info quick and would pay
hotel type prices, so the little black spot between the ears said, self
you should be able to do this with your wireless service.
Couldnt
you do this with just a without a full blown computer? some how just a
monitor securely bolted to the wall and what type of keyboard with
mouse pad on the kb. I know I will need a cpe and will need to
incorporate a printer, guess I probably need some sort of a kiosk? huh?
Need
a cc swipe, and ability to charge for service and prints. Will also
monitor and put a sign warning of being on my video surveillance
cameras to deter vandalism.
Market should be profitable, if i
can get into it for a kiosk, printer, monitor, keyboard and camera and
charge for minutes lets give it a try.
Has anyone installed anything like this, what are your thoughts."

A lot of truckers carry laptops with them...if you found a truckstop that didn't have wifi...!

You're still going to need a computer, how else are they going to get
online? Something with a web browser etc. It doesn't have to be
anything special, a $399 special will do.
If you search for kiosk software you'll probably find something that would be suited for your needs.
